Smartell is a simple mobile application running on a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. It can get information from an object, which is associated with some information and an iBeacon. The object could be any entity, such as a painting in a Museum, a house, or an office in a building, etc., as long as the entity has an iBeacon and some information attached to it. After getting the information from the iBeacon-attached object, Smartell mobile application will show an “I” icon to tell a user there is some information available for the object (as Screen 1 shows). After the user click the “I” icon, the user can read the information, or listen the information by clicking “speaker” icon (as Screen 2 shows). The user can also share the information by clicking the “share” button, which will enable the user to share the information through text message or email.
